With the delivery of ten additional X-STORE containers for the storage and transport of CNG, XPERION expands its market share in Vietnam in the third quarter of 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the beginning of September, XPERION delivered six 40 ft modules to Indochina Petroleum Transportation, whose end customer, CNG Vietnam, uses the containers to deliver CNG to a ceramic factory in the North of Vietnam. Four additional modules will be delivered to Ky Long Service Trading Investment by end of this month. The company will sell the X-STORE transport modules to Petrovietnam Gas South which will deliver CNG to a Samsung production facility in Ho-Chi-Minh City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since the delivery of the first container to Vietnam in July 2009, 108 X-STORE transport modules have been in operation throughout the country. All of them are equipped with X-STORE Type 4 high pressure vessels made of XPERION\u00b4s economical and robust hybrid design (a combination of glass and carbon fiber). They are primarily used for the supply of industrial clients as well as gas power plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Between 2001 and 2012, the offshore production of natural gas in Vietnam has increased six fold, so that the country does not need natural gas to be imported any longer. There is potential for additional natural gas fields in the country, which makes Vietnam become an exporter of natural gas and, in turn, increases the chances for XPERION for a further market expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n
