INOMETA has done a product relaunch of its anilox rollers and anilox sleeves. Read more about the introduction of new developments with significant improvements.
A total of 5 product ranges and over 10 individual products mean that INOMETA offers its customers an unrivalled portfolio of high-performance anilox rollers and sleeves. Although INOMETA has been producing anilox rollers and anilox sleeves for more than 15 years, this product relaunch was an opportunity to introduce new developments with significant improvements. Our new INOlox® range includes steel, aluminium and CFRP anilox rollers with our unique INOMETA INOcell® engraving type as well as pneumatically and hydraulically clamping anilox sleeves. All our product ranges are designed for use in flexographic printing, especially by OEM’s and printing companies mainly printing on flexible packaging, such as film (e.g. PET, PP or PE), paper, corrugated board, packaging and cartons, as well as in converting or processing applications.
“We’re adapting the positive findings from different performance variants to our new anilox products, as we already have in our adjacent INOflex® product families. The two performance ranges are called Proline and ProXline and they enable our customers to select the best printing unit component for their respective print job”, explains Michael Reuter, print application consultant at INOMETA with responsibility for the new product portfolio.
INOlox® anilox rollers – made from steel, aluminium and CFRP
Probably the greatest challenge was precisely adjusting the new anilox roller portfolio to the target applications that are needed. Our new INOlox® range now provides the optimally matching anilox roller – from standard to performance component – for every machine speed and with a wide range of print images. These improved INOlox® anilox rollers are produced from steel, aluminium or carbon fibre reinforced polymer composite (CFRP) and even during their use in the development phase they demonstrated significant improvements in ink release and optimum print results.
The variable use of materials such as steel, aluminium or CFRP in combination with standard and expandable equipment options has enabled INOMETA to produce anilox rollers with a focus both on standard applications and on demanding print jobs with printing speeds of up to 800 m/min. Optimum ink transfer, high repetitive accuracy and minimal manufacturing tolerances enable repeatable print results in the highest quality combined with cost-saving durability.
The latest INOMETA anilox rollers are now called INOlox® S – produced from steel, INOlox® A – produced from aluminium and INOlox® C – produced from CFRP.
New aspects relating to anilox sleeves
In the anilox sleeve product segment, INOMETA is presenting two new pneumatic and two anilox sleeves with hydraulic clamping. These new anilox sleeves provide an enormous advantage, particularly when it comes to short printing jobs and frequent retooling. Our anilox sleeves can be quickly installed and deliver optimum print results even at very high printing machine speeds. INOlox® AP are pneumatically clamping anilox sleeves made from aluminium, which have been introduced as Proline for standard and as ProXline for high-performance application. INOMETA has named its hydraulic anilox sleeves INOlox® MAX – one aluminium version and one produced from CFRP. The MAX versions therefore represent our anilox sleeves with working widths of up to 2800 mm that have specifically been developed for the preprint sector. Here too, as with the INOlox® anilox rollers, INOMETA adopts INOcell® as its engraving standard and uses the latest production technologies to meet the high quality standards expected by its flexographic printing customers.
